How to Schedule a Meeting in Outlook

Scheduling a meeting can become a tedious task if not done properly. With Microsoft Outlook, scheduling a meeting becomes an easy task. In this article, we will guide you through the steps required to schedule a meeting in Microsoft Outlook.

Firstly, open Microsoft Outlook on your laptop or desktop. Once you are on the home page or the home tab, you will see new items just beside the new mail. Click on the little arrow icon in the new items, and it will open up a list of options. You can then see the third option which is a meeting. Click on it.

You will then see the first one from your email ID. Enter the email IDs in the “To” section for the people you are meeting with, enter the subject, enter the location, start time and end time. You can also check on “All-day event”. If you want a Skype meeting with someone, click on the Skype meeting, and fill in the details. Once you do this, you need to click on the “Send” option. This invite will go to everyone in the “To” section.

The second way to schedule a meeting is through the inbox folder. If you receive an email from someone you want to set up a meeting with, click on the meeting option located just beside the “Forward” option. It will open up the options and fill in a few details like the “To” section and the related subject. You can then fill in the location, start time, and end time and click on the “Send” option.

These are the two ways through which you can schedule a meeting in Microsoft Outlook. With these simple steps, you can save time and schedule meetings without any hassle.
