If you have a Samsung TV, you may have experienced an issue with the voice assistant that comes on every time you push a button on the remote. While this is a nice feature for those who are hearing-impaired, it can be quite annoying if you accidentally turn it on or simply do not want it on. In this post, we will show you the step-by-step process of how to turn off the voice assistant feature on your Samsung TV.
First, grab your remote and hit the home button. This may look different on different Samsung TVs, but the menus are generally the same. Click all the way over to settings and make sure you push on the settings button instead of going up. This is a step that a lot of people miss. Once you are in settings, go down to general and click on “accessibility.” From there, click on “visual or hearing impairments” and then click on “voice guide settings.” You will see an option to turn off the voice assistant feature. When it is grayed out, it means it’s off, and when you click on it, it turns on. Make sure it is off to prevent the voice assistant from coming on every time you push a button on the remote.
It’s important to note that this is different from the “big speak” feature, which we have covered in a different video. The voice assistant feature can be turned off by following the steps outlined above.
