How to Tell if iTunes is Downloading

Downloading iTunes for Windows 10 can seem like a daunting task, especially if you’re not familiar with the process. However, with the right steps, it’s actually quite simple. Here’s a quick guide to help you through the process.

To begin with, open up an internet browser of your choice. In this example, Firefox was used. Once the browser is open, go to your favorite search engine – in this case, Google – and type in “iTunes”. Click on the official iTunes – Apple link that appears and scroll down to where it says “download iTunes”.

From here, you can download iTunes in two ways. The first option is to click on “iTunes for Windows – get it from Microsoft from the Microsoft Store”. The second option is to scroll down and click on “looking for other versions”. From there, click on “Windows” and you’ll be taken to a page where you can download iTunes from the Apple website directly.

If you choose to download from the Microsoft Store, click on “get it for free”. If you prefer to download from the Apple website, click on the appropriate version (64-bit or 32-bit) and click “download”. Once the download begins, you’ll be prompted to save the file. Click “save file” and wait for the download to complete.

Once the download is complete, click on “open file” and let the windows installer prepare and gather information. Click “next” and take the defaults for the installation. Once the installation is complete, click “finish”. You’ll be prompted to agree to the iTunes software license agreement. Once you’ve read through it, click “agree”. Finally, click “agree” once again and you’re all set.

iTunes is now installed on your computer and you can go to the iTunes store to download new music. Congratulations on successfully downloading iTunes for Windows 10.
