If you’re an iOS user, you know how important it is to have all your apps synced across all your devices. Fortunately, syncing apps to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch is a quick and easy process using iTunes 12.
First, connect your iOS device to your computer and open iTunes. You should see a little icon for your device in the upper left-hand corner of the screen. Click on it to go to the device tab.
Next, navigate to the Apps tab, which is right below the Summary tab. Here, you’ll see all the apps that are currently on your device, as well as the different screens and folders where they are located.
To sync an app manually, simply scroll down to the left-hand column and click on the Install button next to the app you want to add. If you want to sync your apps automatically, simply check the box that says “Automatically install new apps” and click Apply.
Once you click Apply, iTunes will sync your apps with your iOS device. You’ll see a progress bar at the top of the screen that shows you how much of the sync is complete.
If you need to update an app, you can also do that from this screen by clicking on the Update button next to the app.
And that’s it! Syncing apps to your iOS device using iTunes 12 is quick and easy, and ensures that your device is always up-to-date with your favorite apps. If you have any questions, feel free to leave them in the comments below.
