How to Make a Projector in Home with a Shoebox and Office Supplies

Are you looking for a fun and easy DIY project that everyone can build and enjoy? Look no further than a smartphone projector made from a shoebox and some common office supplies. With a magnifying glass, foam board, masking tape, cutter, hot glue gun, ruler, and of course a shoebox, you can create your very own projector in just a few simple steps.

First, carefully cut off the handle of the magnifying glass with a hacksaw, as you will be using the glass as the projector’s lens. Then, open the flaps of the shoebox and reinforce them with glue to prevent wobbling. Cut two holes in the box for the lens, using a ruler and an x-acto knife to ensure a perfectly round cut. Once dry, position the magnifying glass and glue it into place.

Next, create a stand for your phone using foam board and double-sided tape. Hot glue some foam board legs together to prevent image distortion during projection. Mount your phone in the center of the stand using double-sided tape, being sure to lock the screen and flip it upside-down for proper projection.

Finally, calibrate your projector by adjusting the distance of the phone from the lens until the image is in focus. And don’t forget to have fun! With just a few simple steps and some creative thinking, you can make your very own smartphone projector at home.
