Have you ever wanted to make a call without revealing your phone number? Maybe you don’t want to be called back or you just want to keep your number private. Whatever your reason is, you can easily block your number on a Samsung Galaxy S5, LG G6, or other Android phones.
To start, open up your phone app. On a Samsung, it’s the app with a green phone icon. On an LG, it’s the app with a blue phone icon. Then, look for the three dots in the top right corner and select “Settings.” On a Samsung, select “Call settings” and then “Additional settings.” On an LG, select “Call” and then “Call settings.”
Next, scroll down until you find an option that says “Show my caller ID” or “Caller ID.” Select it and then select “Hide number” or “Hide my ID.” This will block your number from appearing on the recipient’s phone.
It’s that easy! Now you can call your friends, family, or colleagues without revealing your phone number. Keep in mind that some people may not answer calls from blocked numbers, so use this feature wisely.
