Is your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch cluttered with thousands of photos and videos that are taking up too much space? It’s time to start deleting them. But don’t worry, it’s easy to do with these simple steps.
First, open up your Photos app and go to the “Recent” section. From here, you can select and delete individual photos by tapping on them and then tapping the trash bin icon. Alternatively, you can select multiple photos at once by tapping the “Select” option and then tapping on each photo you want to delete before tapping the trash bin icon.
If you have a lot of photos to delete, you can save time by using the “batch delete” method. Simply tap on the first photo, swipe your finger to the right, and then continue swiping downwards until you’ve selected all the photos you want to delete. Then, tap the trash bin icon to delete them all at once.
Once you’ve deleted the photos, they’ll be moved to the “Recently Deleted” folder. If you want to free up even more space on your device, you’ll need to fully delete them from there as well. To do this, go to the “Album” section, scroll down to “Recently Deleted,” select “Select” and then “Delete All.”
Keep in mind that the “My Photo Stream” section is online and therefore doesn’t take up much space on your device. You don’t need to worry about deleting everything from there, but you can reset it if you want to.
That’s it! Now you have freed up space on your device and can continue taking more photos without worrying about running out of storage.
