Are you a company administrator with reporting privileges who needs to check device upgrade eligibility for multiple wireless numbers? AT&T Premier offers an Upgrade Eligibility Report feature that can help. In this blog post, we’ll show you step-by-step how to request and view an Upgrade Eligibility Report and how to identify wireless numbers that may be eligible for an upgrade.
To begin, log in to AT&T Premier and go to the “MANAGE” tab. Under “Reports,” click “Request Reports,” and then select “Upgrade Eligibility Report.” You can choose wireless numbers by selecting a foundation account or a billing account that contains 300 or fewer wireless numbers. Alternatively, you can upload a file or manually enter the numbers.
If you choose to upload a file, download the Excel template and enter up to 300 wireless numbers in the first column under “Wireless Numbers.” Save the file and upload it by clicking “Browse” and selecting the file. Then click “Upload File” and “Continue.” Name the report, click “Continue” again, and finally, click “Request Report.” You’ll receive an email notification when the report is ready.
To view the completed report, go to the “MANAGE” tab and click “View and Download Requested Reports.” Click “Download” next to the name of the report you requested, and open the report. Each wireless number appears on a separate line, and standard and early upgrade eligibility is broken down into three device categories: Smartphone, Feature phone, and iPhone. If your organization’s contract qualifies for AT&T installment plans, Installment Plan eligibility is displayed. The report will show “Yes” if a device is already upgrade eligible and “No” if it is not. In some cases, the report shows the future date when a device will become upgrade eligible.
To identify wireless numbers you may want to check, you can use the output of a different report in Premier. Run the “Expanded Wireless User Inventory Report” from the “Request Reports” page and view and sort the completed report. For example, sort by “Phone or Device Effective Date” to see which devices have been active the longest, or by Device Make or Model if you want to upgrade a specific device type. Then select and copy from the “Wireless Number” column and paste into an upload file or into a manual entry field.
With these steps, you can check upgrade eligibility for multiple wireless numbers efficiently and accurately. For more videos and step-by-step help, be sure to check Premier Support.
