Are you having trouble syncing up your Xbox One controller? Maybe you’ve been using it on your PC and now it won’t connect back to your console. Don’t worry, it’s a common issue and easily fixable.
In this guide, we’ll show you how to sync up your Xbox One controller in two simple ways: via a micro USB cable or using the console itself.
Firstly, for the USB method, you’ll need a micro USB cable that you probably use to charge your phone. Plug the micro USB into your controller and the other end into the USB port on the side of your console. That’s it, your controller should be synced up and ready to use.
If you prefer to use the console itself, there is a small button on the side of the Xbox One. You need to press and hold this button until it starts flashing. Within 20 seconds, press and hold the same button on your controller until the light on the controller starts flashing. The controller will then search for the console and connect automatically.
Once your controller is synced, it should work without any issues. If you’re still having trouble, you can repeat the steps or try resetting your console.
