If you own a Roku TV and an iPhone, you might be wondering how to wirelessly screen mirror your phone to your TV. Well, wonder no more, because it’s actually very simple to do. In this guide, we’ll walk you through the steps to enable AirPlay on your Roku TV and screen mirror your iPhone.
First, to enable AirPlay, click on the home button on your Roku remote and go down to settings. From there, move over to the right and find where it says “Apple AirPlay and HomeKit.” Click enter and follow the setup process. Once it’s set up, you’ll see AirPlay on this screen every time you go back to this setting.
For a better experience with AirPlay, it’s recommended to enable Fast TV Start. To do this, click on the home button again and go to settings. Move over to the right and find “System,” then click on “Power.” From there, scroll down until you find “Fast TV Start” and enable it.
Now that AirPlay is set up and Fast TV Start is enabled, grab your iPhone and go to your control center on the top right-hand side. Scroll down and tap on “Screen Mirroring.” Your iPhone and Roku TV need to be on the same home Wi-Fi network, so make sure they are connected. Your Roku TV will appear on your iPhone screen; tap on it and enter the passcode (if it’s your first time using AirPlay). And voila, your screen is now mirrored on your Roku TV!
To stop mirroring your screen, simply tap on your TV’s name and tap “Stop Mirroring.”
That’s it! It’s that simple to wirelessly screen mirror your iPhone to your Roku TV. If you have any questions or issues, feel free to leave a comment below.
