If you own a Logia Weather Station, you might experience difficulty in connecting the sensor and the weather station. This issue typically arises after power outages or when the batteries die. The good news is that a basic restart of the station can fix this problem. Here’s how you can do it:
When the outdoor sensor readings show dashes, bring the sensor inside and place it at least five feet away from the weather station. Remove the batteries from both the sensor and the weather station. Then, press and release any button at least 20 times. Wait for 15 minutes. This process removes any random energy still in the station, providing a clean connection opportunity. In other words, it returns the unit to its out-of-the-box condition.
After 15 minutes, insert new batteries into the sensor, followed by the back of the station. Reconnect the power cord. Within a minute or two, the data for your outdoor sensor should appear on the screen. We recommend waiting another 15 minutes to ensure that it establishes a strong connection. You can then place the sensor outside in its shaded location.
