The official YouTube TV app is finally back on Amazon Firestick and can be downloaded on any device above a Gen 1 device or your Fire TV device. You can even get it on your Smart TVs with Fire TV included. To download the app, all you have to do is speak “YouTube TV” into your Firestick remote. Alternatively, you can go back to the home screen, click on the magnifying glass and begin to type in “YouTube TV.”
Once you find the app, you’ll notice that it has zero reviews as it is a new release. However, it is free to download and install. The app is recognizable by its all-black icon with a red play button. Once installed, you can open the app and try it for free. You’ll get 70+ channels, unlimited DVR, 6 accounts per household, and 3 streams included.
If you’re having trouble finding the app, make sure that your device is up-to-date. To do this, go to the “Settings” section, drop down and go all the way to the right. Click on “My Fire TV” and make sure your device is up-to-date by clicking on “Check for updates.”
Overall, YouTube TV is a great service and worth trying out for free. It’s an excellent alternative to cable TV, and with 70+ channels, there’s something for everyone. Give it a try and see if it’s a good fit for you and your household.
