Epic Games accounts are a great way to store all of your game data in a single place. You can connect your Xbox, PlayStation, or Nintendo Switch account to your Epic Games account. But what if you want to disconnect your console account from your Epic Games account? In this article, we’ll show you how to do just that.
To connect your console account to your Epic Games account, go to the Epic Games website and click Sign-In in the top right corner. Click Sign in with Epic Games to login to your Epic Games account you want to connect your console account to. Enter your email address, then your password, and click Log In Now. Hover over your account name in the top right corner and click Account. Click Connections. Select either Xbox, PlayStation Network, or Nintendo Switch to connect to your Epic Games Account. Click Connect. Enter your account credentials and click Sign-In. You’ve successfully connected your console account to your Epic Games account.
To disconnect your console account from your Epic Games account, go to the Epic Games website and click Sign-In in the top right corner. Click Sign in with Epic Games to login to your Epic Games account you want to disconnect your console account from. Enter your email address, then your password, and click Log In Now. Hover over your account name in the top right corner and click Account. Click Connections. Click Accounts. Click Disconnect under the console account you’d like to remove from your Epic Games account. Review all the checkboxes in the pop-up. To continue with removing your console account, check all the four boxes and click Unlink. You’ve successfully disconnected your console account from your Epic Games account.
It’s important to note that once you complete the linking process, you will not be able to link another console account from the same platform to your Epic Games account. Disconnecting your console account will reset your Fortnite profile, progression, and purchases or earned content. Once you disconnect, you won’t be able to link another console account from the same platform to your Epic Games account.
