Taking a screenshot on Xbox One is an easy process. In this guide, we will go through the steps to take a screenshot on your Xbox One and view it later.

First, press the Xbox button on your controller to open the side menu. Navigate to the right using the right bumper to the new capture and share window. Then, go down to “Capture Screenshot” and press A on this. It will capture the screenshot.

To view the screenshot, hold down the Xbox button to bring up the “Share” window. From there, you’ll have the option to send it to your Activity Feed, message it, share it on Twitter, or set it as your background on your Xbox One.

If you weren’t quick enough to hold down the Xbox button to view the screenshot, press the Xbox button again on your controller and go back to the “Share and Capture” window. Then, go down to “Recent Captures” and select “Show All”. Here you can view all your screenshots or video clips. You can also set it as a background from this menu or upload it to OneDrive.

If you want to automatically upload the screenshot to Xbox Live, go to “Capture Settings” and type in your passkey. You will see an option here called “Automatic Upload”. If you don’t want to upload it, you can select “Don’t Upload”.

Lastly, under the “Preferences” menu, you can choose to automatically share achievements, screenshots, and clips to your activity feed. If you don’t want people seeing what screenshots or video clips you are taking, make sure you have this option unchecked.

In conclusion, taking a screenshot and viewing your clips on your Xbox One is a simple process. Follow these steps, and you’ll be sharing your favorite moments in no time.
