If you’re a fan of HBO Max and want to watch it with friends while on a Discord call, then you’re in luck! In this tutorial, we’ll guide you on how to screen share HBO Max on Discord.
Firstly, open your browser and navigate to HBO Max. Once you have it opened on your browser, open Discord. Click on User Settings and then click on “Voice & Video”. Scroll down and make sure the “Hardware Acceleration” option is disabled. Once you’ve disabled it, Discord will restart.
Next, go back to your browser and click on the three-dot icon. Click on “Settings” and search for “Hardware”. You’ll need to disable the “Hardware Acceleration” option here as well.
Now, go back to Discord and click on User Settings again. Scroll down and click on “Activity Status”. Here, you’ll need to add a game. Click on “Add It!” and select your browser. If you’re using Google Chrome, choose that and click on “Add Game”.
Finally, open the server where you want to stream HBO Max. Open your HBO Max tab and then go back to Discord. Click on “Stream Google Chrome” and select “Music”. Click on “Go Live” and you’ll see that HBO Max has started streaming!
