Step 2: Remove and Re-Add Your Yahoo Account
The next step is to remove your Yahoo account from your Yahoo Mail app and then re-add it again. Once done with that, clear the cache of your Yahoo Mail app. To do this, go to the settings of your Android device, open the apps section, and then select the Yahoo Mail app. Here, you will see two options: clear cache and clear data. It’s better to clear all the data as it will refresh the Yahoo Mail application. After doing this, log in again into your Yahoo Mail account on your Android device.
Step 3: Check Spam or Junk Folder
If the error is still there and you are not getting any new emails, check your spam or junk folder of your Yahoo account. Sometimes, emails can land into the wrong folder, so make sure to check your spam folder of your Yahoo Mail account.
Step 4: Ensure Email Forwarding is Not Enabled
Lastly, ensure that you have not enabled email forwarding for your Yahoo Mail account. Otherwise, the email will land into the email address that you have set for the forwarding option.
