How to Rearrange Photos on iPad for Better Organization

Are you tired of having your photos and videos randomly scattered on your iPhone or iPad? Do you wish there was a way to organize them in a more decent manner? Well, the good news is that it’s possible, and it’s pretty quick and easy to do.

Before we dive into the steps, let’s take a look at what your device already offers. When you open the Photos app and choose a specific album, you’ll see that your media type is already categorized by default. Your device sorts your videos, live photos, portrait, cinematic, screenshot, and screen record, making it easier for you to locate them.

But what if you want to organize them even further? You can do this by creating an album. To get started, open the Photos app and select the group of pictures you wish to rearrange. Tap on “Select” and choose the pictures, then tap on the share button. Scroll down and tap on “Add to Album.” You’ll see a list of all your currently existing albums, or you can create a new one and give it a title. Once you tap on “Save,” all the pictures will be added to the album, making them easier to access.

If you have a bunch of pictures from a particular date that you want to sort out, you can tap on the three dots and choose “Sort.” You’ll be given the option to sort by custom order, oldest to newest, or newest to oldest. This will arrange your pictures in the specific order you choose.

By following these steps, you can easily organize your photos and videos on your iPhone or iPad and make them more accessible. It’s a great way to keep everything in order and prevent you from wasting time searching for a specific photo.
