If you’re a fan of virtual reality and Roblox, you’ll be excited to know that it’s possible to play Roblox on your Oculus Quest 2. In this guide, we’ll break down the steps you need to follow so that you can start playing your favorite VR-compatible Roblox games on your headset.
Before you get started, there are three things that you’ll need. Firstly, you’ll need an Oculus Quest 2. Secondly, you’ll need a PC to run Roblox. And lastly, you’ll need a USBC cable. Once you have all of these things, you can get started.
The first thing you’ll need to do is download the Quest 2 app for your PC from the Oculus website. Once you’ve downloaded the app, you can go ahead and set it up. The process is super simple, and once you’ve downloaded it, your screen should look something like this:
Next, you’ll need to go to Settings, then General, and then Unknown Sources. Once you’re there, check the box and press Allow. This will allow you to run Roblox through the program into your VR headset.
After that, you’ll need to plug your USBC cable into your computer. If you have a USB 3.0 port, make sure to plug your headset into those ports. If you only have a normal USB port, you can still use it, and it should work fine. Once your cable is plugged in, put on your VR headset and plug the USBC cable into your Oculus Quest 2. After you plug it in, a pop-up should appear on your screen. Press Allow, and then press Enable when it asks you if you want to enable Oculus Link. This will put you in a white lobby that will be running off your computer.
Next, go to the Roblox website and choose any VR-compatible Roblox game. Our favorite is VR Hands, which is super fun and has lots to do. If you want to play it, we’ve included a link to it in the description below. Once you’ve chosen a game, press Play, and then Open Roblox. Put on your VR headset, and you’re ready to go.
