If you’re an iPhone user and have sensitive photos you want to hide, then you’re in luck. In this post, we’ll show you how to lock photos, lock or hide an album on your iPhone without using any external apps.
First, you’ll need to ensure that your iPhone is updated to iOS 16. To do this, go to your iPhone settings, select General, and then click on Software Update. If your device says iOS 16 is up to date, you’re good to go. Note that the beta version is currently available, but we don’t recommend getting it as it’s quite laggy. Wait for the official version to be released in a month or two.
To hide photos, select the photo you want to hide, then click on “Hide.” In the past, you’d have to view the album, and there would be no passcode. Now, when you go to your albums and click on hidden, there is a passcode.
To set the passcode, go to your settings, scroll down to “Photos,” and select “Use Passcode to Require the Hidden Album and Recently Deleted.” This option will only be available if you have a passcode on your iPhone. Once you have the option available, tap on “Show Album” and type in your device passcode.
And that’s it! You can now lock and hide photos on your iPhone without using any external apps. This feature is really useful if you have photos on your iPhone that you want to keep private.
Thank you for reading, and we hope you found this post helpful. As always, peace.
