Have you ever wanted to hide a photo on Instagram without deleting it entirely? Maybe it’s a photo of an ex-partner or just a picture you’re not sure you want to keep on your profile. Whatever your reason, there is a quick and easy trick to hide photos on Instagram, and we’re here to walk you through it.
First, open the Instagram app on your iPhone and go to your profile in the bottom right-hand corner. If there are photos that you want to hide, click on the photo you want to remove. Let’s say it’s a photo of your dog. Click on the three dots in the top right corner and select “Archive.” This will remove the photo from your profile, but you won’t lose any of the likes or comments.
If you want to see your archived photos, click on the three lines in the top right corner, then click “Archive.” From there, you can view all of your archived photos. If you ever decide to bring a photo back to your profile, click on the photo, go to the three dots, and hit “Show on Profile.” The photo will return to your profile with all of the likes and comments intact.
