When connecting your Twitch channel to OBS or similar, you may need to locate your stream key. In this tutorial, we’ll show you how to find your Twitch channel stream key so that you can connect smoothly.
To get started, simply navigate to twitch.tv in your browser and log into your Twitch account. Once logged in, go to the top right corner and select your profile image. From the drop-down menu, select “Creator Dashboard”. This will load the dashboard for your Twitch channel.
If the menu is not open, click the arrow to expand it. From there, select “Settings” and then “Stream”. This will bring you to the stream key and preferences for your channel. You can now see your primary stream key, which you can copy by selecting “Copy” right beside it.
If you need to reset your stream key, simply select “Reset” and your channel will be secure with a new stream key.
