If you’re experiencing the Minecraft Exit Code -1 error, don’t worry, you’re not alone. This error can occur for a number of reasons, and there are a few things you can try to fix it.
The first thing you should do is press the Windows key and the R button at the same time. This will open up the Run dialog box. Type in “%appdata%” and click OK. This will open up a file explorer. From here, navigate to the .minecraft folder and then to the mods folder. Make sure there are no outdated mods in this folder, as they can cause the Minecraft error. If you find any outdated mods, delete them and try running Minecraft again.
If this doesn’t work, the next step is to delete the entire .minecraft folder. Don’t worry, when you open up the Minecraft launcher again, everything will be redownloaded. However, keep in mind that all of your texture packs and saves will be deleted, so make sure to copy them to your desktop before deleting the folder. Once you’ve re-downloaded Minecraft through the launcher, you can drag them back in and use them again.
To delete the .minecraft folder, right-click on it and select “Show More Options.” Then, click “Delete.” This may take a moment, as it is a large folder. Once it’s finished, open up the Minecraft launcher again and see if that fixed the issue.
If the problem still persists, make sure you have the latest version of Java. Go to java.com and download the latest version of Java. This should fix the issue.
We hope one of these methods has worked for you. Give them a try and let us know in the comments below if they worked for you. Good luck!
