Have you ever experienced the frustration of your laptop cursor disappearing out of your computer screen? It feels like it’s gone into oblivion, and you won’t be able to use your mouse. Well, worry no more! In this post, we will guide you on how to fix the issue with your cursor not showing up on your laptop.
First, you need to get to the device manager. To do this, go to your desktop and press the Windows + S key. This will open up the search bar, and then type in device manager. Once you open the device manager, press the tab key to get into the selection menu. Then, just scroll down using your arrow keys to mice and other pointing devices and expand that selection using the right arrow key. You should find your mouse under this selection. Once you find your mouse, select it, and press Enter. Then press tab again to reach the menu bar of the newly opened window and scroll using your arrow keys to drivers. In drivers, use the tab to select disable device, then press ok. Once your device is disabled, press enable again, and at this point, your mouse pointer should appear back.
If your mouse is still not showing up, you can try uninstalling your device. To do this, select your mouse again, go to drivers, and select update driver. Then select search automatically for dated driver software. It should install new drivers for your mouse, which in theory should solve your problem.
If it says that your drivers are already up to date and it didn’t solve your problem, the only solution left is to reinstall Windows or restart your PC. However, before doing so, you can try going to Google Chrome and searching for Windows 10 Mouse driver. By using tab, you can select your Windows version and then scroll down to the installation of the mouse and keyboard Center. Once you download this file, you can use tab again to open this file or go to your file explorer and open it from the Downloads folder.
We hope this post helped you fix your problem of the cursor not showing up on your laptop. Remember, you don’t need to subscribe to anything or like this post. Just go ahead and fix your cursor problem.
