How to Find Boxing on Peloton: A New Way to Work Out

Peloton has recently launched a new way to work out through its new boxing program. If you’re looking for something different than your usual Peloton routine, these new boxing classes might be just what you need. The program is called “Get Hooked: Peloton Boxing” and the instructors who teach these initial classes are Rad Lopez, Selena Samuela, and Kendall Toole.

The program is two weeks long and consists of 14 classes ranging from 5 to 30 minutes. The first week consists of five classes that focus on the fundamentals, and the second week consists of nine classes that will level you up to full shadow boxing. Within each week, each class you complete unlocks the next, but you do have the option to skip a class after a week from the program start date. The next week of classes becomes available, and you’ll also be able to see your program progress report and earn badges.

In the classes, you can expect to burn a lot of calories since boxing is a very cardio-intensive exercise. The instructor will begin with a warm-up and explain all the boxing moves you’ll be performing in the workout. You’ll be moving your arms and legs a lot, creating an exhaustive full-body workout. Of course, you’ll have the support and guidance of the instructor accompanied by music meant to energize you. You’ll be doing a lot of jabs, hooks, crosses, and uppercuts, working on your stance and footwork, combination moves, as well as defense. You don’t need any equipment like boxing gloves or wraps, but Peloton does recommend that you use a workout mat.

You can access these classes on the Peloton app, through the One Peloton website, and through the Peloton bike and tread. In order to find these classes, you need to go to the programs menu. It’s possible that in the future, boxing will have its own category or be a filter under the cardio category, similar to dance cardio.

Peloton expects more instructors to get involved in the future, and some Peloton instructors who have a background in boxing include Cali Gullickson and Bradley Rose, so you might see them in a future lineup.

In conclusion, Peloton’s boxing classes are a new way to work out and add variety to your Peloton routine. Have you tried them yet? Let us know in the comments below.
