How to Connect iPhone to Samsung Tablet and Transfer Data

If you have recently purchased a Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 series tablet and want to transfer data from your iPhone or iPad, you are in the right place. In this blog post, we will guide you on how to transfer data from your iOS device to your Samsung tablet.

The first step is to get your Samsung tablet and open the Google Play Store. Once you’re in the Google Play Store, search for the Samsung Smart Switch Mobile app and install it onto your device. This application is free to download, and it’s only 18 megabytes. Once downloaded, tap on open, and you will see a message asking for certain permissions. Tap on “Allow” to enable the transfer of files, contacts, and other data.

After this, tap on “Receive data” and select “iPhone/iPad” as the source. You will need to connect a cable to transfer data, so get the charger you use to charge your iPhone or iPad. Insert the USB Type-C end into the tablet and the other end (USB Type-C or lightning, depending on your device) into your iPhone or iPad.

In case your lightning cable is USB Type-A and you can’t plug that end into the tablet, you will need to get a USB Type-A to USB Type-C adapter. These adapters are cheap and readily available on online marketplaces like Amazon or eBay. Once you have connected your devices, tap on “Trust” and enter your passcode.

If you see a message saying that you need to charge your device’s battery to at least 20 percent, charge it and come back to the app. You may also need to charge it to 80 percent to proceed with the transfer.

Finally, select the data you want to transfer. You can choose calls and contacts, apps data, home screen layout, images, video, and audio. If you want to transfer everything, tap on “All.” Once you have made your selection, scroll down to the bottom of the page to find the “Transfer” option. Tap on it to start the transfer process.

Wait for the transfer to complete, and you’re done! You will not lose any data on your old iPhone or iPad. You can now access all the transferred data on your Samsung tablet.
