Amazon Prime recently introduced a new feature called Watch Party, which enables users to watch TV shows and movies together with friends and family. However, it is currently only available in the US, and you must have an Amazon Prime membership to use it.
To start using this feature, head over to the Prime page on amazon.com, select the TV show or movie you want to watch, and choose the episode you wish to watch with others. Once you have done this, you should see the new option called Watch Party. Click on it and it will take you to the chat page, which allows you to chat with other people while watching the show or movie together.
To create a Watch Party, type in your name and click on “create watch party”. Next, copy the link or press “share” to invite others to join you. When they join and press play, they will appear under the Watch Party detail as a participant. You can have up to 100 people watching the same show or movie with you at the same time.
To comment on the show or movie, use the chat box on the right side of the screen. All activities, including every time the video has been paused and resumed, will be displayed on the left side of the screen. Type out your message and press send. Your comment will appear in a text format, and you can have a conversation with others on the right side of the screen.
