To start with, Buddy Row earbuds turn on automatically when you remove them from the case, and they turn off when you put them back in. To pair them with your device for the first time, place the earbuds in the case, and they will turn on automatically. You will know that the earbuds have entered pairing mode when the LED lights flash red and blue.
If you need to pair them with another device, manually turn off the earbuds by holding the left button for four seconds. Press each bud for two seconds to power on and enter pairing mode. The voice prompt will say “pairing,” and you can select “Session” from the Bluetooth device list on your device.
You can use the Buddy Row earbuds in “mono mode” if you want to listen to music while still being aware of your surroundings. To activate mono mode, make sure both earbuds are on and connected, and then place the right earbud back in the case. The left earbud will remain paired and work with both music and calls.
The earbuds have a full suite of controls on each bud to keep you connected without having to take your phone out of your pocket. You can play music by pressing either bud once, turn up the volume by pressing the right bud twice quickly, or turn it down by pressing the left bud twice. To skip a song forward, press and hold the right bud for two seconds, and to skip a song backward, press and hold the left bud for two seconds. To take a call, press either bud once, and to reject a call, press and hold the right or left bud for two seconds.
To charge your earbuds, place them in the charging case. The earbud LEDs will be solid red while charging and turn off when fully charged. To check the battery level of the charging case, press the button on the front, and the four white LEDs will show you the percentage of battery left (100%, 75%, 50%, or 25%).
If you need to reset your Buddy Row earbuds to solve pairing difficulties, turn off Bluetooth on your device and remove the left earbud from the charging case, allowing it to power on. Press it six times, and it will flash red before automatically powering off and resetting. Now, place the left earbud back in the case and remove the right earbud to repeat the same steps. This will clear the earbuds from all your paired device lists.
