Your Google profile picture is visible in almost all of your Google services, and it may be time to change it. Whether you want to use a more recent picture or include your family in it, Google makes it easy to change your profile picture. However, be aware that the change won’t automatically show up across all your Google services and may take up to 48 hours to appear in some places. Here’s how to change your Google profile picture in just a few steps.
Step 1: Open your web browser and go to myaccount.google.com to land on your Google My Account screen.
Step 2: Click on your current profile picture. This action opens the Select Profile Photo window.
Step 3: Click either “Upload Photo” or “Your Photos” to see photos available. Choose the photo you want to use as your Google profile picture. The image appears in the Select Profile Photo window for cropping.
Step 4: Adjust the cropping of the image and use the Left and Right buttons to rotate the image if you need to. Once you make necessary adjustments, click “Set as Profile Photo.”
You’ll immediately see the changes on your Google My Account screen. However, note that it may take up to 48 hours for your new Google profile picture to show up in your other Google services, such as Gmail, Google Chrome, and more.
