There are many different instances where you might want to change the size of your Google Slides. For example, if you are creating a printable worksheet to share with your students, you’ll want to change the dimensions to be eight and a half by eleven.
To get started, open a new Google Slides file. Then, follow these simple steps:
1. Click on the “File” button in the top left-hand corner of the screen.
2. Scroll down to where it says “Page Setup” and click on it.
3. You’ll see that it says “Page Setup: Widescreen 16 by 9.” Click on the drop-down menu and select “Custom.”
4. Choose the unit of measurement you prefer (inches, centimeters, points, or pixels). For this example, we’ll use inches.
5. Change the width to be 8.5 and the height to be 11.
6. Click “Apply” and voila! Your Google Slides have now been resized.
It’s that simple! Now you know how to change the size of your Google Slides. Remember, you can resize your slides to any dimensions you’d like.
