Samsung’s Gear Fit 2 Pro is a popular smartwatch that allows users to play music offline from Spotify. But what if you prefer to put your own music on your watch? In this tutorial, we’ll show you how to add music to your Gear Fit 2 from your computer.
Before we get started, make sure your PC and Gear Fit 2 are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. To connect to a network on your watch, open the Settings app, scroll down and tap Connection, then tap Wi-Fi. Make sure Wi-Fi is enabled, then tap Wi-Fi networks. Tap your network and connect to it, entering the password if applicable.
On your Windows PC, click the network icon in the taskbar to open the Wi-Fi settings. Click your network, then enter the password.
Now, open the music player app on your Gear Fit 2. Scroll up and select the “Music Library” label, then scroll down and tap “Gear Music Manager.” Next, tap “Start.”
On your PC, enter the IP address on your watch’s screen into your address bar in your web browser. Tap the checkmark under “Watch” to allow your PC to connect. Once your PC is connected, you will be able to see the music that is already on your watch and add or delete music as desired.
To add music, click “Add New Tracks.” This will open a window that allows you to choose files you want to upload to your watch. Choose your music, then click “Open.” Once the file copying is finished, you can click “Disconnect.”
To delete tracks, select the checkbox next to the song you want to delete, then click “Delete Tracks.” The songs will be deleted, and you can then click “Disconnect.”
Now you’re free to listen to your personal collection of MP3s on your Gear Fit 2 using Bluetooth headphones. If this tutorial helped you, give it a thumbs up and check out some of our other helpful articles and videos.
