Fortnite is a game that allows you to play across different platforms, which means you can play with friends on Xbox, PlayStation, Switch, and PC. However, before you can play with them, you need to add them to your friends list. If you’re not sure how to do that, don’t worry, we’ve got you covered.
First, go to your friends list by pressing the options button on your PlayStation controller. Then, go down one selection and use the d-pad to go to the left and then down to “Add Friends.” From there, select “Find Player by Display Name” and type in your friend’s display name, Xbox Live gamertag, or PlayStation name. Once you find them, select “Add Friend,” and a friend request will be sent to them.
If you’ve recently played with someone and want to add them as a friend, go to “Recent Players” on your friends list and add them from there. You can also check out the “Suggested Friends” list to see if you have any mutual friends.
Once you’ve added your friends, make sure to enable cross-platform play by going to “Settings” and selecting “Account and Privacy.” Scroll down until you see “Allow Cross Platform Play” and make sure it’s selected.
Now that you’ve added your friends and enabled cross-platform play, you can invite them to join your party by selecting their name from your friends list and selecting “Invite to Party.”
We hope this guide helped you add friends on Fortnite. Happy gaming!
