How to Open Encrypted Email in Gmail on iPhone

If you’re using an iPhone and you want to access your encrypted email in Gmail, there are a few steps you need to follow. In this guide, we’ll walk you through the process of setting up your Power Box hosted email account on an iOS 11 device.

First, you need to go to your iPhone’s settings and scroll down until you see “Accounts and Passwords.” Tap on that and then select “Add Account.” From there, you’ll choose “Other” and then “Add Mail Account.”

Enter your name, email address (which should be your Power Box hosted email address), and the password for your email account. For the description, you can put “Box Mail” or “Work Email Account” depending on your preference.

Next, make sure that IMAP is selected and that your name, email, and description are filled out. For the incoming mail server, type in “m.powerbox.com” for the host name, your email address for the username, and your email account password. If the “show” field isn’t filled out, re-enter your password.

For the outgoing mail server, type in “mybox.com” for the host name, your email address for the username, and your email account password. Once you’ve entered all the information, tap “Next.” The verification process may take a few minutes, so be patient.

Once your account has been added to your device, tap on the email account you just added and go to “Advanced.” Under “Deleted Messages,” make sure to select “Remove” and then “Never.” Tap “Done,” and you’re all set.

Now you can access your encrypted email in Gmail on your iPhone. It’s important to note that you’ll need to have your encryption key to read your encrypted emails. If you don’t have it, contact your email provider for assistance.
