Transferring photos and pictures from your Moto G7 or any Motorola phone to your Windows computer or laptop can be done easily using a cable. First, grab your cable and connect the USB Type-C to your phone and USB-A to your laptop. If your laptop has a Thunderbolt connection, you can also use a USB Type-C to USB Type-C cable.
Once connected, log in to your phone and click enter. Open your file explorer and select your Moto G7. However, you may encounter a problem where nothing pops up on your screen. Don’t worry; this is normal. What you need to do is scroll down the notifications on your phone and click on “Android system charging this device via USB.”
Tap the down arrow and select “file transfer” to enable data transfer. Go back to your computer and open your file explorer, and select your Moto G7. From there, double click on the internal storage and select the DCIM folder. Then, double click on the camera folder, and you will see all your photos and videos.
To save them on your Windows computer, drag and drop them to your preferred folder. You can create a new folder on your desktop and name it whatever you want. Then, select the photos and videos you want to move and drag them to the new folder.
It’s that simple! Now you can transfer all your photos and videos from your Moto G7 to your Windows computer or laptop. If you encounter any issues, feel free to comment below.
