Have you ever been annoyed by Android Auto or Driving Mode on your Android phone that randomly starts every time you connect to Bluetooth or get in your car? If you want to disable it, you can follow the steps below.
First, go to your settings application. Scroll down to Google and click on it. Then, scroll down to Personal Safety and click on “Silence notifications while driving.” Depending on your phone, you may see different options, but what you want to do is under “Driving mode,” turn it off.
Next, under “Behavior,” it’s recommended to untoggle the sound. Then, under “Turn on automatically,” click on it and turn off the options “When connected to Bluetooth” and “When driving is detected from motion and Bluetooth connections.” You can also turn off “Turn on Bluetooth automatically” if you’d like.
Once you’ve completed these steps, Android Auto and Driving Mode will be completely turned off, and it will never turn on automatically.
