Do you have certain contacts on your iPhone that you would like to keep private? It’s easy to hide them with these simple steps.
First, make sure that your iPhone is running on the latest iOS version. You can check this by going to “Settings”, selecting “General”, and tapping on “Software Update”. Once your iPhone is updated, open the “Contacts” app and tap on “Lists” in the top left-hand corner.
You will see the different accounts that your contacts are saved on, such as Yahoo, Gmail, and “All Contacts”. To keep certain contacts private, tap on the plus sign and store them on a separate account, such as Gmail.
To hide a specific contact, transfer it to a different email address and then go to “Settings”, select “Contacts”, and tap on “Accounts”. If you want to hide a contact saved on Gmail, for example, turn off “Contacts” for that account and tap on “Delete from iPhone”. The contact will not be completely deleted, but it will no longer show up in your iPhone’s contacts.
If you want to access the hidden contact again, simply turn on “Contacts” for that account in “Settings”.
By following these simple steps, you can easily hide certain contacts on your iPhone and keep your personal information private.
