Have you ever wanted to clear your search history on YouTube? It’s actually very easy and doesn’t take much time at all. Here’s how to do it:
First, open up the YouTube app and take a look at what you’ve been searching. You’ll see everything you’ve searched for, including things that you may not want others to see. To remove these items, go to your library or click on your profile icon in the bottom right corner.
Next, click on the top right corner to get into your settings panel, then click on “History and Privacy”. From there, you’ll see a few different options, including “Clear Watch History” and “Clear Search History”. For this specific situation, we want to click on “Clear Search History”.
Once you click on “Clear Search History”, you’ll receive a message letting you know that your YouTube search history will be cleaned from the device. Click “Clear Search History” and when you go back to the search bar, you’ll notice that your search history is no longer there.
It’s possible that your search history may still be linked to your account, in which case you can go through your search history within your Google account and remove it that way. However, within the YouTube app, you’ve successfully cleared your search history.
