Are you tired of the same old white walls in your background every day during your video meetings? Well, Microsoft Teams has a solution for you! In this tutorial, we’ll show you how to change your background in Microsoft Teams.
First, make sure that both your video and audio are turned on. Then, to the right of the mic switch, click the background settings image icon. This will open up all of your options to the right.
If you don’t want your background visible, you can click on the blur feature. This will blur everything in the background while keeping you clear.
You can also choose from one of Microsoft Teams’ previously installed images. Simply click around until you find one you like. If you want to add your own custom picture, click “add new” and select a picture from your computer. Just make sure that it’s either a JPEG, PNG or BMP file.
If you want to change your background image while a meeting is already happening, click “join now”. Once you’re in the meeting, go up two more actions and click “apply background effects”. From here, you’ll be able to preview your background and choose from the same image options.
All you have to do is select apply and turn on video, and you’re all set! Setting up your background image is that simple.
Now, you can have fun with your new custom background during your virtual meetings. No more boring white walls!
