Stream Slideshow to Chromecast: A Tutorial

Many people like to use their TV as a display for photos instead of watching TV all the time. If you’re one of them, then you’ll love this tutorial on how to stream a slideshow to Chromecast. In this tutorial, we’ll be using the Google Home app on your smartphone and Google Chromecast Ultra to show you step-by-step how to do it.

First, open the Google Home app on your smartphone. From there, navigate to Google Maps to change the photos on a specific TV in a specific room. Your devices will be broken up by rooms, and you can control them through the app. For example, if you want to control the photos on your living room TV, click on “Living Room.”

Once you’re in the Living Room section, click on “Ambient Mode Settings.” You can change several settings here, such as Google Photos to use the photos on your display. During an event or party, you can show any photos that have been taken live on a display TV. You can also choose to show an art gallery, experiment with the slideshow speed, or show the weather on the TV.

In this tutorial, we’re going to select Google Photos. Select the albums you want to display on your TV, set the slideshow speed, and your TV will start displaying the photos. You can set the slideshow speed to five or ten seconds.

You can control any TV or device inside your home that has a Google Chromecast Ultra or Google Chromecast connected to it. For example, you can do the same thing in your master bedroom, office, or kitchen. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask. This tutorial is easy to follow, versatile, and can be used in many different settings, whether it’s at home or an event.
