How to Use Snipping Tool on Google Chrome

Snipping is a useful function that allows you to take a picture of part of your screen that you might later want to paste somewhere else. In this blog post, we will learn how to use the snipping tool on Google Chrome.

To get started with snipping, the first thing you need to do is to find the part of the screen that you want to capture. In this example, the instructions say to look for the number three and snip it, then paste it in the box on the bottom right.

Once you have found the part of the screen you want to capture, you need to take a picture of it. On your keyboard, find the control key and the shift key right above it. Then, look for a key with a square and two lines that are right on top of the six. Click on all three keys at the same time, and your screen will look a little bit darker.

Now, use two of your fingers on the touchpad to select what you want to take a picture of. One finger stays on the touchpad, and the other one moves the cursor. This will allow you to choose how big you want the picture to be.

As soon as you have selected the part of the screen you want to capture, a little window will pop up, and it will say “copy to clipboard.” Click on that, and your picture is ready for you to paste.

Since these instructions said to paste it in the box on the bottom right, we will go to that box. Once you are there, press Ctrl and V at the same time to paste the picture. Your picture will appear on the screen, and you can resize it, make it smaller or larger, and drag it inside the box where you want it.

That’s it! You’re done. Now you know how to snip and take a picture of part of your screen using the snipping tool on Google Chrome.
