Are you having trouble receiving your iPhone verification code? It can be frustrating when you’re waiting for an important message and it just won’t come through. Fortunately, there are some quick and easy fixes you can try to get your verification code back on track.
First, make sure your phone’s Do Not Disturb setting is turned off. This can be found by sliding down from the top of your screen and checking to see if the half-moon icon is lit up. If it is, toggle it off. This setting can reject incoming text messages, including verification codes.
If your code still isn’t coming through, check your phone’s settings. Go to Settings > Messages and make sure that iMessage and Send as SMS are both turned on. If Send as SMS is off, toggle it back on. This is important because some applications, such as Snapchat or Facebook, may send verification codes as SMS rather than iMessage.
Finally, check to see if Filter Unknown Senders is turned on. If it is, turn it off. This setting can filter out messages from people who are not saved in your contacts, including verification codes from applications.
