Whether it’s family members, friends, or contacts, you might want to keep your location private. In this tutorial, we’ll show you how to completely stop sharing your iPhone location.
Firstly, instead of manually going through your contacts and trying to remember who you’ve previously shared your location with, the easiest way to stop sharing your location is to open your settings. Scroll down until you see “Privacy” and tap on it. Then, at the top, you’ll see “Location Services.” Tap on it and you’ll see “Share My Location.”
Tap on “Share My Location,” and you’ll see a toggle switch. If you want to stop sharing your location, turn this off. After doing this, absolutely no one will be able to track your iPhone location.
If you have a list of contacts that you want to be extra sure about, tap on any of those contacts and tap “Stop Sharing My Location.” After a second, it’ll say “Cannot See Your Location.” You can do this for all of your contacts to be sure.
