If you’re an iPhone X, XR, XS, or XS Max user, you may have noticed that the battery percentage sign is not displayed permanently on the screen. Unlike older iPhones, where you could toggle on the battery percentage under the battery settings and view it on the home screen, newer models have a different approach.
In this post, we’ll show you three ways you can view the battery percentage on your iPhone X, XR, XS, or XS Max.
Firstly, you can ask Siri what your battery percentage is. This can be done by asking, “Hey Siri, what’s my battery percentage?” Siri will respond with the current battery percentage of your device.
Secondly, if you have a wireless charger, you can view the battery percentage by simply placing your iPhone on the charger. The charger will display the battery percentage on the phone’s screen.
Lastly, the easiest way to view the battery percentage is by swiping down from the top right-hand corner of your iPhone screen. This will show the battery percentage on the screen, but it will disappear once you scroll back up.
While it may be frustrating that newer iPhones don’t allow you to view the battery percentage permanently, these three methods should help you to keep an eye on your battery level.
