Sling TV is a popular streaming service that allows you to watch your favorite shows, movies, and sports events live or on-demand. If you’re a Sling TV user and wondering how to record your favorite content, you’re in the right place.
First, let’s take a look at the new Fire TV interface. The home button allows you to access your favorite apps, which you can sort by clicking the three square button. If you click this button, you’ll see all the apps within the TV. To return to the home screen, press the home button on the remote.
To access Sling TV, you need to click on the app. Once it loads (which takes about 10-15 seconds), you’ll see the main screen. On the left side, you’ll see the home icon, the guide, and the DVR, among other things. The guide shows all your channels, and you can add channels to your favorites by pressing the heart select button.
To record a show, press the third button with the three lines, and select “New Events” or “New and Reruns”. You can also select “This Event Only”. The DVR storage shows all your scheduled recordings and how much space you have left.
If you want to save a particular show or recording and make sure it’s not erased, select the recording and hit the lock button. Sling TV will automatically delete the oldest recordings when it gets full.
We hope this guide helps you navigate Sling TV’s new Fire TV interface and record your favorite shows and events.
