How to Put Watermark in Excel

Are you looking for a way to add a watermark to your Microsoft Excel document? Adding a watermark can help you identify your document easily and add a professional touch to it. In this post, we will show you how to add a watermark in Microsoft Excel.

First, open your Excel document and click on “Insert” tab. From there, select “Header & Footer” under the “Text” section. Once the header and footer section appears, click on the “Picture” icon. Here, you have the option to select a picture from your computer or from online sources. Select your preferred picture and click “Insert”. The picture will appear in the header section.

However, the picture may not be perfectly placed or sized to your liking. To adjust this, click on “Picture Format” and select “Washout” from the “Image Color” section. This will make the picture lighter. If the picture is too big, you can adjust the size by going back to “Insert” and selecting “Footer”. Here, you can reduce the picture size by selecting a smaller font size.

To add text as a watermark, follow the same steps as before and select “Header & Footer”. Then, add your text and adjust the font size, style, and color to your preferences. You can also center the text by hitting the “Enter” key.

Once you have added your watermark, it will appear in the background of your Excel document. This is the easiest way to set your picture and text as a watermark in Microsoft Excel. With these simple steps, you can easily add a watermark to your documents and make them look more professional.
