Have you ever wished you could make your app icons on your iPhone bigger? Maybe you have difficulty seeing small text, or you just want to give your phone a different look. Whatever the reason, it’s actually quite simple to accomplish.
First, open your Settings application and scroll down until you see “Display and Brightness.” Click on it, and then scroll all the way to the bottom to find “Display Zoom.” When you click on it, you’ll see that you can have a little bit of a zoomed-in experience. By clicking on “Zoomed,” you’ll make the app icons bigger. Once you click “Set” on the top right corner, your iPhone will do a soft reboot and you will see that all the assets are much bigger, including the app icons.
Keep in mind that this will also make everything else on your iPhone bigger, such as fonts and other assets. If you don’t like the new look, you can always reverse the process by clicking on “Standard,” clicking “Set,” and then “Use Standard.” Your iPhone will do another soft reboot, and your app icons will be back to their original size.
While some people may prefer the larger size, others may not. It’s all a matter of personal preference. Regardless, it’s nice to know that you have the option to change it up.
