Have you ever wanted to add an underwater effect to the background of your audio? Well, it’s easier than you think! In this tutorial, we’ll show you how to achieve the desired underwater audio effect on your iPhone using a free app called Video Leap.
To begin, open the app and start a new project by tapping on the plus sign. If you already have a video that you want to add the effect to, you can add it at this stage. However, for demonstration purposes, we’ll be using a song by English French Montana.
Once you’ve added your video clip, zoom in on the timeline by using your fingers. Next, split the clip where you want the effect to start and end. You can do this by tapping on the clip and sliding it. Then, tap on the clip again and select “split”.
After you’ve split the clip, zoom in a bit more so you can easily see the clip. Tap on the clip and then go to the “Audio” tab. Change the volume to 50 and go to “Equalizer”. You’ll want to make sure that you go all the way to the last one where it says “trouble” and has a little minus sign. This will give your audio an underwater effect.
Once you’ve completed the steps above, you can save the clip to your camera roll by tapping on the top right corner of the screen. However, if you want to take the audio to the next level, consider adding actual underwater sound effects. You can find these by searching for “underwater sound effect” on YouTube. There’s one in particular that works really well with this effect. If you’re interested, we’ll leave the link to the clip in the description below.
Overall, adding an underwater effect to your audio is an easy way to make your content stand out. With Video Leap, you can create this effect in just a few simple steps. We hope this tutorial was helpful to you and happy creating!
