Livestreaming on Twitch or YouTube has become a popular way for gamers to share their gameplay and connect with other gamers all around the world. The good news is that you don’t need a PC or any complicated setup to livestream on PS4. Everything can be done directly on your PS4. In this post, we will show you how to livestream on Twitch PS4.
The first step is to select the game that you want to stream. Once you’re in the game, press the share button on your controller. Then select “Broadcast Gameplay” from the options that appear. This will bring up a pop-up on your screen.
You will see options for Twitch and YouTube. For this example, we will use YouTube, but the setup is the same for both platforms. When you do this for the first time, you will need to sign in to your account.
Next, you can change the stream settings. If you want people to hear you, check the box next to “Include Microphone Audio in Broadcast.” Uncheck the box next to “Display Message to Spectators and Spectators’ Comments.” This will prevent the chat from blocking half of your screen.
You can also change the title of your stream, add a description, and adjust the quality. We recommend using 720p high-quality for the best viewing experience.
If you want your friends to be heard while you’re livestreaming, go to the “Audio Sharing Settings” option and select “Include Microphone Audio in Broadcast.” Now people watching your livestream can also hear your friends who are in your party chat.
To begin streaming, press the “Start Broadcasting” button and then “Start Broadcasting” again. You will see a message on the top right corner of your screen that says “On Air” when you are officially live.
To read the chat, open the YouTube app on your phone, go to your library, and select “Videos.” You will see your livestream at the top of the list. Click on it, and you can read the chat and interact with your viewers.
To end the stream, press the share button on your controller again, go to “Broadcast Settings,” and select “Stop Broadcasting.” Press “OK,” and you’re done.
That’s it! Now you know how to livestream on Twitch PS4 or YouTube using just your PS4. It’s easy and straightforward, so go ahead and share your gameplay with the world.
