How to Link Netflix to Google Home

Do you have a Google Home Hub or Nest Hub and want to learn how to play Netflix on it? In this post, we will guide you through the steps to link your Netflix account to your Google account and play your favorite TV shows or movies on your Nest display.

Firstly, ensure that you have a Netflix account. Once that is done, grab another device, such as a smartphone or tablet, and open the Google Home app. Look for the plus sign in the top left-hand corner and tap on it to open it. Scroll down to ‘video and photo’ and tap on it. You will see a list of video streaming services, including Netflix, Hulu, and CBS. Select Netflix and tap on ‘link.’ Follow the prompts to link your Netflix account to your Google account.

Once your accounts are linked, set your device aside and use your Nest display. You can say “Okay Google, play (name of TV show or movie) on Netflix on (name of your Nest display)” to play your desired content. For instance, you can say “Okay Google, play ‘Queen of the South’ on Netflix on Tech Running 24/7 Hub Display.” Your chosen content will start playing, and you can use the on-screen controls to pause, skip, or rewind.

To unlink your Netflix account from your Google account, go back to the Google Home app and select ‘unlink.’

And that’s it! You can now enjoy your favorite Netflix TV shows or movies on your Nest display by linking your account to your Google account.
