How to Keep Screensaver from Coming On

Do you find it annoying when your screensaver pops up and interrupts your work or entertainment? If so, you might want to turn it off. In this tutorial, we will show you how to disable the screensaver on your Windows computer.

First, you need to open the Start menu and type in “power plans”. Click on “power plans” in the search results. If you are using Windows 7 or 8, you can access the power options through the control panel. Just go to “control panel” and then “all control panel items” and select “power options”.

Once you have opened the power plans, click on “change plan settings” next to the plan that is currently selected. Then, set both “turn off the display” and “put the computer to sleep” to “never”. This will prevent your computer from going to sleep and also disable the screensaver.

If you only want to turn off the screensaver but keep the sleep mode on, you can access the screensaver settings. Open the Start menu and type in “screensaver”. Click on “change screensaver” and select “none” in the drop-down menu.

It is important to note that there is a difference between turning off the screensaver and turning off the sleep mode. Make sure you choose the option that suits your needs.

We hope this tutorial has helped you disable the screensaver on your Windows computer. Thank you for reading and we look forward to sharing more tutorials with you soon.
