How to Get Stock Android on Samsung: A Step-by-Step Guide

If you’re a Samsung Galaxy user and have always been curious about what stock Android looks like, you’ve come to the right place. In this tutorial, we’ll show you how to get a stock Android look on your Samsung Galaxy phone with a pixel launcher, stock-like system theme, Google keyboard, and more.

First, we’ll apply a theme called “Pixelize” which gives your system settings, notification tray, and icons a more stock-like look. Once you’ve applied the theme, you’ll notice a slight difference in your phone’s appearance.

Next, we’ll switch to the Lawn Chair launcher, which has a pixel look by default and doesn’t require any additional configuration to achieve that stock-like look. After installing the launcher, you need to go into your settings and select Lawn Chair as the home app.

Now that we’ve got the launcher sorted, we need to change the app icons to the round shape from a pixel phone. To do this, we’ll install the “Pixel Pie Icon Pack” and activate it through our launcher settings.

To bring the Google feed to the side, we’ll use the “Google Feed Plugin for Lawnchair” which requires you to allow apps from Chrome (remember to turn this off after installing the app). Once you’ve enabled this plugin, you’ll have the Google feed on the side just like you would on the default Samsung launcher or on a Pixel phone.

The Google wallpaper app is next on our list which has all of the wallpapers that you’ll also find on a Pixel phone. Simply select your preferred wallpaper and apply it to your phone.

Lastly, we’ll change the keyboard to a more stock-like look with the “Gboard” app. After installing Gboard, you can select it as your input method and enjoy the Google keyboard like on stock Android.

That’s it! With these simple steps, you can have a stock-like setup on your Samsung Galaxy phone. All of the links you need are in the video description. If you enjoyed this tutorial, be sure to check out Brienne’s other home screen setups on her channel.
